At Ramah Baptist Church, we believe that families are a vital part of the life and mission of the church. Our approach to family ministry is rooted in a commitment to biblical worship, discipleship, and fellowship. Here’s what sets us apart and what you can expect as a family in our church community.
We embrace a family-integrated model of ministry, where parents and children worship, learn, and grow together. Rather than segmenting children and youth into separate programs during the worship gathering, we believe it is important for families to participate in the fullness of gathered worship side by side. This allows children to witness, participate in, and learn from the worship of their parents and the entire church family.
“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” —Deuteronomy 6:7
However, family integration doesn’t mean isolation! We value the relationships formed through fellowship, mentorship, and shared experiences within the broader church family.
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” —Romans 12:5
We provide many opportunities for families to connect, fellowship, and have fun together. These include simple, intentional events designed to build relationships among families and cultivate joyful community life.
Examples of past and upcoming events include:
Our goal is to build strong connections among families while reflecting the love and joy we share in Christ.
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” —Psalm 133:1
We also recognize that the Christian life isn't primarily about having fun—it's about shared growth. As such, our family ministry not only encourages fellowship but also cultivates spiritual growth through God’s Word. We want to nurture families who grow together in faith, participate together in worship, and build relationships that support and encourage one another in all stages of life.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” —Colossians 3:16
Our hope is to cultivate Christ-centered homes and a church community where families are strengthened in their walk with the Lord.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” —Psalm 127:1
We invite you to be part of our family life at Ramah Baptist Church—where discipleship, worship, and fellowship are shared across generations. We believe that even the simplest activities, done together in the name of Christ, can deepen relationships and glorify God.
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” —1 Corinthians 10:31
