Regretfully, we must postpone our conference, Lord–willing until the Spring of 2025. To express continued interest for the revised date, contact pastorlaramie@ramahfbc.com.
Join us September 28 for a one-day conference on the Biblical Foundations for the Family. No matter your background or family status, this conference will help equip you to support healthy family life in your local church. We will offer three plenary sessions and four breakout session options. Lunch will be provided. While we are making this a free event so that it's accessible to all, we will have a designated place for attendees to voluntarily provide an offering to help offset the cost of the event.
9:30 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Session 1: The Biblical Foundation of the Family (Matt Sikes)
How has God designed the family? Does the design of our Creator even matter? Matt Sikes will teach the biblical foundation of the family from Genesis 2–3.
Session 2: Roles within the Family (Logan Williams)
If men and women are equal in the eyes of God, does it matter how husbands and wives function within the home? What if you're in a single-parent home, raising your grandchildren, or some other non-traditional situation? Logan Williams will cover the biblical roles of various members of the family from Ephesians 5–6.
Session 3: Breakout Sessions
Husbands/Fathers (Logan Williams)
If you are a married man with children in the home or are planning for marriage or future children, this session is for you.
Wives/Mothers (Becky Aniol)
If you are a married woman with children in the home or planning for future children, this session is for you.
Supporting Families (Scott Aniol)
What if you have no children in the home, but want to support the families of your church to be all that God has designed them to be? This session is for you.
Children & Youth (Laramie Minga)
Not only is it important for Fathers and Mothers to know their role in the home, but children, too, have biblical expectations. This session will help to teach and equip children to honor their parents and submit to their leadership.
Session 4: Family Worship On Sundays (and the other six days, too) (Scott Aniol)
How can I help my children grow to worship Christ when we gather on Sundays, even from their earliest days? What about the rest of the week? Scott Aniol will offer a biblical foundation from Deuteronomy 6 for families worshipping together on the Lord's Day as well as at home every day. He will give practical suggestions for parenting in the pew as well as family worship at home.
